Ark Fjordur Cave Locations
The following is a list of 48 Ark Fjordur cave locations with their correct coordinates.
Vardiland Cave
Vardiland Cave is located at the bottom left of the map. The coordinates are Lat 78.3, Lon 28.9. It is a small to medium sized cave that is perfect if you’re just getting started on Ark Fjordur. It has a long tunnel that leads to the main cave which means added protection from predators. Vardiland cave is perfect for building basic structures. In terms of loot, there isn’t much inside the cave but its surrounding areas are resource rich.
Vardiland Waterfall Cave
Vardiland Waterfall cave is located at Lat 76.7, Lon 37.4. You will find a waterfall at this location and you can go straight through it to access the cave location. It is small to medium sized cave with plenty of water and food around it so it is a great starter base location in Ark Fjordur.
Emerald Trench Cave
Emerald Trench is one of the best cave locations in Ark Fjordur. It has plenty of resources and a lake around it. Emerald Trench cave is located at Lat 68.3, Lon 38.0. There are some Dracula spawns and even a small pond but the location is cold so you’ll need protective measures.
Underwater Cave #1
The first underwater cave on our Ark Fjordur cave locations list is located at Lat 91.6, Lon 41.9. This is pretty big cave with plenty of flat space for you to build your base. Plenty of water and resources readily available in the area. The temperatures are nice so you won’t need any protective gear.
Mines of Moria Cave – Dragon Boss Terminal
A great cave location is at Lat 86.3, Lon 04.9 known as the Mines of Moria. The cave location is at the bottom left of the Ark Fjordur map. There are multiple resources inside the cave, it is huge, and even comes with a bridge. There is also a mini aberration area and the Dragon Boss Terminal located inside the cave.
Hidden Aberration Cave Inside Mines of Moria
Inside the Mines of Moria cave, there is another cave entrance on the far wall from the bridge. The exact coordinates for the hidden Aberration cave are Lat 86.9, Lon 12.7. Inside you will find multiple aberration creatures, gas veins, and more.
Swamp Castle Cave
The Swamp castle cave is easy to find as it is right under the castle. The exact cave location is at Lat 40.3, Lon 06.4. The cave is pretty flat with good temperatures. It has flat surface which is great for building structures for your base. Plenty of water around which is another plus.
Ferox Cave
The Forex Cave is at the base of the mountain at Lat 21.1, Lon 08.1. Inside the cave you will find feral spawns but there is plenty of room to build a decent base if you can manage to low temperatures.
Frozen Waterfall Cave
This cave location is in the middle of a waterfall in Ark Fjordur. The waterfall isn’t completly frozen but there is plenty of snow around. It is a tiny cave which is not a great place to set up any permanent base. The exact coordinates of this base location are Lat 30.9, Lon 22.3.
Hidden Cave Under the Castle
There is a massive castle at this location and the cave is below it. The exact coordinates for the cave entrance are Lat 19.9, Lon 19.1. This isn’t the best base location as it is not really suitable for building anything. May be a temporary base but nothing permanent should happen here.
Giant Snow Cave
A large snow cave is located at Lat 28.9, Lon 34.3. The cave entrance is in the middle of the snowy mountain. It is a decent sized cave where you can build but it goes without saying that temperatures are low here. However, it high enough so it’s hard to get into which is added protection.
Lindbjord Cave
The Lindbjord cave location is at Lat 29.0, Lon 39.6. This is one of the biggest cave locations in Ark Fjordur and is the best cave for PvE. There is plenty of room inside the cave and readily available water. In fact, the pond inside can be used to breed small sea creatures.
Small Waterfall Cave
There is a cave hidden behind a waterfall at Lat 28.7, Lon 50.9. The cave is really small and pretty much useless for any long term building. It can be used as a small stop point and it has a good flat surface but other than that the cave itself isn’t impressive. However, there is water in the area that you can use.
Small Waterfall Cave
Another small waterfall cave is hidden at Lat 27.2, Lon 50.9. This cave location is right next to the last one we discussed. Both caves are the same which means there is not much available here. Not the best spots but I’ll let you decide what to do with this one.
Dark Cave
The next Ark Fjordur cave location is at Lat 13.2, Lon 50.0. The cave is dark but offers a good amount of building space. In fact, it also has water that will come in handy. While its not the best cave location, it is not the worst one in Ark Fjordur.
Beyla Cave
The Beyla miniboss cave is located at Lat 04.1, Lon 47.4 at the edge of the cliff. Beyla’s terminal is at the every end of the cave and you will find a ton of honey at this location as well.
Bear Cave
The bear cave is another location that is quite easy to find. Go to Lat 17.1, Lon 60.1 to find the cave entrance but keep in mind that this one probably the tiniest caves in the game so you can’t really build here. However, there are bears in the areas if you’re looking for some.
Small Cave
A small cave is located at Lat 07.7, Lon 69.8 on the top right corner of the Ark Fjordur map.
Vannaland Cave
The next cave location in Ark Fjordur is at Lat 11.3, Lon 75.4. It is right under the snow mountain, at the edge of the redwoods. There is some water inside this medium sized cave as well as a few metal nodes. Not suitable for building but it does have a tiny running waterfall, make of that what you will.
Bear and Honey Cave
The bear and honey cave is located at Lat 09.8, Lon 84.2 in the redwoods. The location is hard to find as it is covered by some bushes and a fallen tree. It is a cave full of high-level creature spawns such as Titanboas, Bears, and more. It is a massive cave so there is plenty to explore. You can also find mushrooms, polymer, and honey inside. A great cave for farming resources!
Hidden Waterfall Cave
There is another small hidden waterfall cave in the Redwoods. The exact cave location is Lat 18.5, Lon 92.0.
Hidden Waterfall Cave
You can find another hidden cave behind the waterfall in redwoods. The cave location coordinates are Lat 20.0, Lon 98.1. It is a really nice cave, cozy, and has flat surface for you to build.
Dung Beetle Cave
The next cave location is at Lat 25.5, Lon 93.2. It is not suitable for building anything but it is a cute little cave with a couple of dung beetles hanging around.
Metal and Oil Cave
The next cave is located at Lat 35.5, Lon 95.7. It is right at the base of the mountain. Inside you can find metal and some oil veins. There is water available as well.
Desmodus Cave
The Desmodus is located at Lat 38.4, Lon 74.7. Its entrance is behind the water stream/waterfall. There are multiple Desmodus in the cave which means you can easily tame them. It is the best taming spot for these creatures.
Portal Cave
The coordinates for the portal cave are Lat 40.6, Lon 57.5. There is a teleportation room in the cave that leads to Vanaheim, Asgard, and Jotunheim.
Hall of Fame Cave
Next Ark Fjordur cave location is at Lat 45.5, Lon 60.3. It is an interesting cave where you can visit to check out decorative creatures.
Loot Cave
The loot cave can be found at Lat 45.5, Lon 62.9. This cave has three loot crates and a lot of lava that you need to watch out for.
Broodmaster Boss Terminal Cave
The Broodmaster Boss Terminal cave is on the beach at the base of the mountain. The cave location is Lat 57.6, Lon 65.5.
Hidden Waterfall Cave
The next cave is at Lat 54.3, Lon 77.7. It is on the lake near the castle, just behind the waterfall.
Resource Cave
This cave location in Ark Fjordur is at Lat 61.2, Lon 80.3. It is a huge cave with oil, metal, crystal and other resources. There is more than enough water so a great area to build.
Megapithecus Boss Terminal Cave
Megapithecus Boss Terminal cave is located at Lat 57.2, Lon 85.2. There are purple crystals outside the cave entrance which makes it easy to find this location. There is a mini aberration area inside and a bunch of Nameless Venom as well. There is also some loot in the cave but the biggest reason to visit this cave is the Megapithecus Boss Terminal.
Underwater Cave
This is another underwater cave that is located at Lat 53.3, Lon 97.4. It is a large aberration type cave that you can explore.
Luna Underwater Cave
This Luna underwater cave can be found at Lat 86.2, Lon 98.4. It is a beautiful cave full light and colors. There are some pet spawns here to that’s always a plus. But the best part of the cave is zero gravity sections where you’ll float around. You can build amazing structure inside this cave.
Magmasaur Pit Cave
This cave location is at Lat 95.7, Lon 79.3. It is a Magmasaur Pit but its entrance is guarded by Wyverns. When at the entrance follow the purple crystals and you will end up at the Magmasaur Pit. There are black perls, element shards, and other resources available in this cave.
Underwater Oil Cave
This is an underwater cave and the easiest way to find its entrance is by looking for a set of purple crystals above the main entrance. You can find a ton of oil and Silica inside.
Crystal and Oil Cave
Head outside the last cave and take left to find another cave. The exact coordinates are Lat 47.3, Lon 42.6. This is a perfect location to farm oil and crystal in Ark Fjordur.
Underwater Cave
Dive into the water at Lat 45.5, Lon 34.3 and you will come across a big opening that leads to the cave.
Underwater Aberrant Swamp Cave
From Lat 40.7, Lon 31.7, jump straight down into the water to find another cave. This is a swamp like cave that has multiple gas veins, and creature spawns.
Underwater Cave
Another underwater cave is at Lat 41.9, 24.4. Dive in the water from these coordinates and you will find a cave. It is a nice cave, good size, and you can place tree platforms here with ease. It is one of the best base locations in Ark Fjordur.
Underwater Abyss Cave
If you’re looking for rare resources, this underwater cave is where you’ll find them. The cave location is at Lat 51.2, Lon 16.5. Inside the cave you will also have the opportunity to tame Mosasaurus and there are alpha creatures that you can interact with. In terms of loot, you can farm Black Pearls, Elemental Shards, and more.
Poison Wyvern Cave
Teleport to Vanaheim and reach the coordinates Lat 13.7, Lon 64.6 where you’ll find the cave. There is a waterfall at this location with the entrance underneath it. Inside, you will find Poison Wyvern Eggs.
Vanaheim Cave
Teleport to Vanaheim and reach coordinates Lat 00.0, Lon 74.5 to find the cave. This is another great base location with plenty of resources around the area. Remember that this cave is inside the base of a tree.
Hidden Waterfall Cave
Teleport to Vanaheim where you will find this cave at Lat 00.3, Lon 88.3. The cave location is behind a waterfall that flows under a tree.
Lightning Wyvern Cave
Teleport to Asgard and reach coordinates Lat 31.0, Lon 08.1. There is a whole Lightning Wyvern Trench inside the cave.
Rock Drake Cave
Rock Drake cave location is Lat 40.9, Lon 49.5 in Asgard. The cave entrance is surrounded by purple vegetation and you’ll need a hazard suit to explore the cave. Multiple Rock Drakes are inside the cave and their eggs as well.
Steinbjorn Boss Cave
This miniboss cave is located at Lat 76.6, Lon 31.5 in Jotunheim. The cave entrance is on a river bank, follow the tunnel and you’ll reach the boss terminal.
Ice Wyvern Cave
Teleport to Jotunheim and reach coordinates Lat 66.0, Lon 32.3. This cave is an Ice Wyvern Trench where you’ll find these creatures and their eggs.
